Your contract shortlist
1,023 open government bids right now
Real, current federal, state and local bids from our database, across every trade. Tap one for the plain-English details. Subscribers get each one screened against their company, with a pursue or pass call.
Your bid department, on autopilot
Most owners spend evenings scrolling SAM.gov and still miss the good ones. BidSweeper does the finding and the first read, so your time goes into the bids that actually fit.
1. We sweep
Every morning we pull new notices in your trade from SAM.gov and state bid boards, matched to your NAICS codes and the states you work in.
2. We read
AI reads each solicitation and its attachments: the scope, wage rates, licenses, bonding and insurance, site-visit dates, required forms and anything that rules you out.
3. You decide
At 8am you get a short list ranked by fit, each with a plain-English pursue or pass. One tap shows the full breakdown.
The fine print, pulled out before you open the PDF
Small businesses lose time and money on government work for the same few reasons: pricing below the required wage rate, missing a mandatory site visit, or bidding work reserved for someone else. BidSweeper flags each one.
- Set-aside fit: SB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and AbilityOne traps flagged
- Wage rules: Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon rates, so you price above the legal minimum
- Scope: size, locations, quantities, frequency and deliverables
- Key dates: questions due, site visit, proposal deadline
- Required forms, licenses, bonding and insurance, as a checklist
- Bid Team plan: a draft executive summary and response outline
A sample analysis appears here once today's notices are read.

Straight answers
Is BidSweeper a government agency or a registration service?
No. BidSweeper is an independent software company. We read public notices from SAM.gov and state bid boards and screen them for you. We never charge to register you anywhere. SAM.gov registration is free, and you should never pay anyone for it.
Which trades and states do you cover?
Commercial Cleaning & Janitorial, Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Security Guard Services, Facilities Maintenance, Construction & Renovation, Electrical Contracting, HVAC & Plumbing, Roofing, Painting & Flooring, Specialty Trade Contracting, IT & Software, Consulting & Training, Architecture & Engineering, Staffing & Administrative Support, Transportation & Moving, Waste & Environmental Services, Food Service & Catering, Healthcare & Medical Services, Supplies & Equipment. Federal bids from SAM.gov cover all 50 states; state and local coverage depends on the bid board. Pick your trade and states when you sign up.
I've never bid on government work. Is this for me?
Yes. The free Bid Room explains any solicitation in plain English: who can bid, what to submit and when it's due. The daily shortlist then shows you bids sized for a small business. It won't guarantee an award, but it cuts the time spent finding and qualifying bids.
Do you take a percentage of contracts I win?
No. It's a flat monthly price. What you win is yours.
How is this different from SAM.gov alerts or BidNet?
Alerts send you every notice with your code, and you still read every packet. BidSweeper reads them for you, drops the ones you can't bid (wrong set-aside, too far, AbilityOne, expired), and pulls out the wage rates, scope and dates on the rest.
Do I need to be registered in SAM.gov?
To bid on federal contracts, yes, and it's free at sam.gov. Most state and local bids don't require SAM registration, and BidSweeper covers those too where we have them.
Will the AI write my proposal?
On the Bid Team plan it drafts a starting executive summary, compliance checklist and outline. You review, edit and submit everything. BidSweeper is an assistant, not a proposal writer or legal advisor.
